For the other things I do!

There’s no escaping the fact that I love crochet.  I’ve done it for so long now, I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a hook and yarn within arm’s reach.  But, it’s not the only craft I love.  I’m the type of person who’s happiest when surrounded by a pile of paper, glue, scissors, ribbons and (quite often) mess.  Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to share some of my less-successful makes…there have been many ;)

By now you’re probably thinking that crafting is all I do and, yes, it’s a big part I admit.  But it’s not quite all.  I’m also mum to 5 children ranging from toddler to post-teen,  I’m wife to a musician (who’s currently finishing a degree in music technology and production), I’m a computer science graduate, an ex maths and IT teacher with a passion for all things geeky and gadgety and I’m also a hoarder of books – books I’ve already read and will probably never have time to read again, I might add.  For some unfathomable reason, I just can’t bear to part with them!

Anyway, that’s what this section is all about – somewhere to record the ‘other’ things I do without it making the crochet section hard for visitors to navigate.
